Michael R. Burns

Michael Burns (born August 21, 1958) is an American entertainment executive who joined the board of directors in 1999 and became vice chairman in March 2000 of Starz Entertainment (at the time known as Lionsgate), where he remained until his retirement in 2022. During his 22-year tenure, Lionsgate has grown from a fledgling independent studio into a diversified global entertainment company.
